BlackBerry announced today that it has added six new partners in India. All six partners have been awarded Gold-level status and are well equipped to successfully design, architect, implement and support BlackBerry solutions in India.
Optiemus Infracom, the company in India that licenses BlackBerry software and develops BlackBerry-branded handsets has started sending out media invites for an event on August 1, with the tag line, “Do More Different.”
On Friday we reported how Optiemus Infracom had reportedly signed a brand licensing agreement with BlackBerry to make and sell handsets for BlackBerry in India. BlackBerry today officially announced the agreement .
BlackBerry has partnered with HCL Infosystems, a leading VAR with coverage across 15,000 towns in 664 districts in India, which will further expand the company's software vendor and solution portfolio.
