Toronto Crime Stoppers app now in BlackBerry AppWorld
In an effort to clean up the streets and reduce crime the Toronto Police have released a real-time Crime Stoppers app.
It’s currently available for free on BlackBerry, iOS and Android devices.
Apparently the tips you send in are “100% anonymous and your identity is protected by the Supreme Court of Canada.”
If you choose to help fight crime you could find yourself with a reward of up to $2,000. The goal, according to the Toronto Police, is to build “a safer Toronto for you!”
The app is in-depth and gives several options to submit a tip, including pics and video.

- Find the nearest police station using GPS and receive turn by turn directions.
- Check the status of submitted tips.

- One touch calling directly to a Crime Stoppers Representative.
