T-Mobile was the most complained about network to Ofcom in Q3, according to the telecoms regulator’s latest complaints data published today.

In Ofcom’s latest quarterly report, T-Mobile generated 0.16 complaints per 1,000 customers in the three months to the end of September, mainly driven by disputes over billing and how complaints were handled.

Three generated 0.16 complaints per 1,000 customers having been the most complained about operator in the first two quarters of this year.

Orange generated the same amount of complaints, with Vodafone generating 0.14 complaints.

These were all above the industry average of 0.13 complaints per 1,000 customers.

Virgin Mobile generated 0.10 complaints and O2 was the least complained about network for the seventh successive quarter, with 0.05 complaints per 1,000 customers.

This was despite the operator suffering its first network outage in July, which affected around eight million (a third) of its customers.
