Sprint Will Have an All-Touch BlackBerry This Year, but not the Z10

Sprint have taken a lot of heat in the US for not carrying the BlackBerry Z10 but waiting for the Q10.

However, they plan to launch an all-touch BlackBerry-10-powered device in the second half of the year, according to a source familiar with the situation.

The device is a follow-on handset to the Z10, rather than just a slightly modified version of the initial all-touch phone being sold by Sprint’s rivals.

The Q10 is expected to hit Sprint around midyear, with the new touch model slated for sometime in the second half of the year.

I feel that this this can only be the Aristo device that we broke the news about in October last year.  Already in production as the Astro, I would have to assume that this is indeed the device that Sprint are referring to.

However, I am also aware that the R series is also currently in production but have no further news on that at present.

Will you get the Z10 on another carrier or would you be happy to wait for the Astro?
