Sprint confirms it won’t carry the BlackBerry Z10
Sprint will be the only major U.S. carrier not to offer the BlackBerry Z10 when it hits the U.S. this month, opting instead to wait for the physical keyboard device, the BlackBerry Q10.
Sprint, the third-largest U.S. mobile-phone service, plans to offer the Q10 later this year, said Mark Elliott, a spokesman for the Overland Park, Kansas-based carrier.
That model has a physical keypad, in addition to a smaller touch screen.
“We aren’t saying there’s anything different about our customers,” Elliott said.
“We think our customers will be happy with the qwerty keyboard and touch screen on the Q10.”

Interesting. People that I’ve spoken to that are currently with Sprint want the Z10, not the Q10.
Sprint "WILL" lose customers, especially current iPhone and Android customers that were looking forward to a Z10 upgrade. The UK and Canada report more none BlackBerry users are buying up the Z10, by up to 50% of Z10 sales going to iPhone/Android customers.
Bad move Sprint unless you have a hidden agenda at play.
It looks like they think the Z10 won’t be a seller and they are waiting for the Q10, which they believe will sell to current BlackBerry users.
Hmm, I wonder if that will impact retention. As a BlackBerry user, I would switch or buy outright to get one. Probably less expensive to switch.
