RoadPeer is a location-based Traffic Information app for viewing and reporting traffic conditions on major roads in Lagos, Nigeria.
RoadPeer delivers real-time crowd-sourced traffic information to your mobile phone. With RoadPeer you can work with other road users to report traffic conditions on the road, view traffic reports at a glance or on a Live Map and chat with fellow RoadPeer users to discuss road incidents and alternative routes.
That way you can make informed decisions about your journey and outsmart traffic.
Features:
- View Traffic Report: View real-time traffic reports on major roads within Lagos.
- View Map: View roads and real-time traffic information as reported by users on a Live Map. The map displays Traffic Icons at the exact spots the reports were submitted by users. For non-touchscreen devices, zoom in/out using the (–) and (+) buttons and navigate with the (E), (S), (F) and (X) buttons.
- Report Traffic: Click on any of the Traffic Information buttons (Heavy Traffic, Medium Traffic, Low Traffic, Road Accident, and Police Checkpoints) to report road traffic conditions and incidents. You can only report traffic while on a RoadPeer-Registered Road.
- Chat: Chat live and interact with other RoadPeer users to share information on traffic incidents, delays, road works and alternative routes.
