LS Chess is a very popular board game, played by two people on a chessboard arranged in an 8×8 size grid. Each player will have a set of sixteen pieces of army, white or black, which are:
8 Pawns, 2 Bishops, 2 Knights, 2 Rooks or Castles, 1 Queen and 1 King.
These pieces are used to attack and capture the opponent pieces until the king is ‘checkmate’ which means it can’t escape from the threat of being captured. The game may also end in a draw, where neither player wins, this condition occurs when the king can’t move elsewhere in the chessboard.
LS Chess follows professional rules set by The World Chess Federation.
These are the following:
- White always move first.
- Ability to do Castling.
- Ability to do En passant.
- Ability to do a Promotion.
- 60 seconds withdraw timer.
