The Hammer Phone range offers a better specified rugged phone than many others on the market, with a higher resolution screen, more memory, faster processors, the latest version of Android, and bigger batteries.
Channel firm BDexperts has announced the introduction into the UK of the Hammer Phone range of ruggedised smartphones. Hammer Phones are manufactured by MyPhone, which was established in 2001 in Poland, and has revenues exceeding $100m and trades on the Warsaw Stock Exchange.
The first three phones to be marketed in the UK will be the AXE PRO, AXE M LTE and ENERGY. All have IP 68 ratings and are tested to Mil Spec 810G, are shipped with Android 6.0 Marshmallow, have an excellent battery life and are ideal for heavy duty work environment usage, or extreme sports, with their waterproof, shockproof and dustproof features.
Designed to look and feel like a consumer device, the Hammer range offers users the familiarity of operating an Android smartphone but comes with the benefits of a rugged device. Built with the latest Android 6.0 operating system, powerful business processors and long life batteries, workers can multi-task and use the device for data intensive operations. Protection from dust and water is achieved with an IP68 rating and a 1.5m drop spec safeguarding from knocks and drops.
Reinforced housing on AXE PRO and AXE M LTE gives protection from most common damages. Durable HD displays range from 4.5 to 5.5 inches and all come with reinforced Gorilla glass 3. The phones are supplied SIM free, allowing users and companies to source tariffs which best suit them. DUAL SIM capability makes the phones the perfect work tool, with one SIM for work use and one for personal use.
Mike Pullon, CEO of Varilink said,
“The demand for rugged devices continues to grow and we are pleased to be able to add myPhone Hammer to our product set so that we extend our offering from tablet and handheld scanning devices to smartphones. Our customers will be able to offer a truly rugged alternative to consumer grade smartphones and to provide scanning and printing solutions built around Hammer by adding companion barcode scanners and mobile printers.”
Hammer phones have best in class specifications. The AXE PRO is the largest of the three models, with a 5.5 inch screen, 64GB of memory, the newest Octa-Core processor, a 5000 mAh battery which promises unrivalled power and durability. In addition it supports wet hands and glove operation and now ships with the latest Android 7. At the other end of the spectrum, the ENERGY represents a good value rugged phone, with 16GB of memory and a Quad-core processor yet still manages to squeeze a 5000 mAh battery into the sleek casing.
Style has not been compromised, with a choice of phones in black, orange or silver-black.
Google Licensed, MyPhone was awarded European Android Hero Status, by Google at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona earlier this year as testament to their success to date. Hammer phones are available in 22 European countries and sold by many major telecom operators and retail chains. The Hammer Phone range launched in 2014 with just one rugged feature phone. The range now encompasses 3 rugged feature phones and 4 rugged smart phones.
