To help promote brand new celebrity impression show, Very Important People, Channel 4 has launched a brand new innovative Facebook app, called VIP ME, which instantly transforms users into a celebrity of their choice.

The app, which can be found on the Comedyon4 Facebook page uses real-time face detection and face tracking technology, allowing users to morph themselves into a chosen celebrity by simply looking into their webcam.

Users can choose from a range of celebrities including Cheryl Cole, Barack Obama, Adele and Gordon Ramsay. They can also record a video of their impression which is instantly shareable on their own Facebook timeline, in a bid to encourage further users to use the new VIP ME app.

The brand new application has been developed by Noise Inc. and using Beyond-Reality Face, VIP ME is the first Facebook app using face substitution via projection, overlaying the features of your favourite celebrity in real-time.

Very Important People airs on Fridays at 9:30pm on Channel 4 and Channel4 HD, beginning tonight.
