Microsoft update Surface Pro 2 specs two months after launch

Only two months after launch, Microsoft started shipping Surface Pro 2 tablets with updated Intel processors. The new Surface Pro 2 model features an Intel i5-4300u processor clocked at 1.9GHz, compared to the launch units i5-4200u chip at 1.6GHz. German Court rules in favour of Nokia in HTC litigation

A German Court has ruled in favour of Nokia in litigation against HTC for patent infringement.  The Munich I Regional Court handed Nokia a Germany-wide patent injunction against all HTC Android devices (including the HTC One) that infringes on Nokia’s patent on connecting devices over NFC or Bluetooth to transfer resource information such as a URL (European Patent 1148681). Nokia's tax bill in India could be far higher than expected, according to the country's tax officials. The company's back tax bill could balloon to $3.4 billion from the current $340 million, said an Indian income tax official who declined to be named. Strategy Analytics: Developers Back Windows Phone

Strategy Analytics Developer Survey, fielded in September 2013, polled over 1,600 active mobile app developers. Over 32 percent indicated they would support Windows Phone next year, double the 16 percent which created apps for the Microsoft platform in 2013. HTML5 and Firefox also fared well.
