Mozilla have opened pre-orders for the Flame, its first official developer handset for the Firefox OS. The mid-range handset can be pre-ordered now for $170 from everbuying.com and should take roughly four weeks to ship. Alcatel have announced four Firefox OS-powered devices, three entry to mid-level smartphones and a tablet. The Alcatel OneTouch Fire C The OneTouch Fire C is the successor to the OneTouch Fire. The device specs are very much entry level with a 3.5-inch, 320x480 pixels HVGA TFT screen and unnamed 1.2GHz dual-core processor. Firefox tablet image and specs leak

It's not often a leak comes directly from a company but Mozilla's Asa Dotzle has leaked the specs of the first tablet to be powered by Firefox OS. Manufactured by Foxconn, the slate (codenamed Flatfish) is actually the Infocus New Tab F1. This is a low-end tablet built by the contract manufacturer.
