The brother of a student murdered over a stolen BlackBerry has been sent a sick message blaming him for the killing.

Dogan Ismail, 17, was knifed to death after he went with 15-year-old brother Orhan to retrieve the lad’s mobile phone from a gang that allegedly included fugitive teenager Dawda Jallow.

Heartbroken Orhan has now been sent a Facebook message that reads:

“Sorry to hear about your brother. But you shouldn’t have gone looking for Dawda.”

Jallow has been on the run since the stabbing on Sunday on the crime-ridden Aylesbury estate in Walworth, South London.

Dogan had gone along to protect Orhan after teenage muggers who took his BlackBerry promised to hand it back at a face-to-face meeting. The brothers’ uncle Ali Hussein said:

“The person who sent the message was clearly blaming Orhan for Dogan’s death.

“It was all his fault for trying to get his property back from a bunch of callous muggers! These people have no respect for life.”

Ali believes Gambia-born Jallow, 15, is hiding on the estate. He added:

“Police should be banging on every door to flush him out.”
