BlackBerry 10 lockscreen mod now available for Android

BlackBerry 10 is not even released and already it’s being mimicked.

One of the nice UI features of the BlackBerry 10 beta is the BlackBerry 10 lockscreen.

A mod for Jelly Bean or Ice Cream Sandwich based Android devices is now available for download that will emulate the lockscreen style of BlackBerry 10.

Basically it’s a lockscreen that unlocks the phone by swiping the finger up, in which a curtain-like effect slowly reveals the home screen behind.

It’s a cosmetic feature but it’s testament to BlackBerry 10 and RIM that some of it’s unfinished features are already being modded for other platforms.

The mod can be found over at XDA forums here.
