Users of BlackBerry services such as BlackBerry Messenger (BBM) in the Asia Pacific region may be cut off from 2 to 7 p.m., Globe Telecoms said Sunday.

In an advisory posted on its Twitter account, Globe said the temporary cutoff will affect Philippine BlackBerry subscribers including Globe, Smart and Sun.

“During this time, BlackBerry will conduct a service improvement activity,” Globe said.

However, it assured Globe subscribers they can still avail of other Globe services such as calls and text.
